1. Choose the file to match your software:

Pro/ENGINEER Tutorial for Release 2001: Several files are required for this edition and are located in the tutorial directory on the MultiMedia CD, except for mod_tree.cfg. To download it, use your right mouse button to click on the file name below:

mod_tree.cfg

To download all the tutorial's files in a self-extracting zip file, as is stated on page 1-10, use your right mouse button to click on the file name below:

proe2001.exe

Student Edition Tutorial for Release 2001: Special versions of the required files are needed for the Student Edition 2001 software. Those files are located on the Student Edition Tutorial CD, except for mod_tree.cfg. To download it, use your right mouse button to click on the file name below:

mod_tree.cfg

Student Edition Release 2000i 2: A special version of the file referred to in Chapter 4 is needed for the Student Edition 2000i2 software. To download the file, place your mouse pointer over the file name below and click the right mouse button.

Less4i2s.prt

Pro/ENGINEER Tutorial for Release 2000i2: The file was changed for this edition and it is located in the Prt_file directory on the MultiMedia CD.

Pro/ENGINEER Tutorial for Release 2000i: The chapters were rearranged in this edition, but it is the same file as Lesson7.prt.1. To download the file [Lesson4.prt.1] referred to in Chapter 4, place your mouse pointer over the file name below and click the right mouse button.

2. DO NOT LEFT CLICK:

When you right click on the file name, a menu will appear giving you the option to save the file.

In Microsoft Internet Explorer, you should see

"Save target as . . ."

In Netscape Navigator, you should see

"Save link as . . ."

Save the file to a location of your choice. Your computer may save it as lessonX_prt.1, in which case you need to rename it before using it in Pro/ENGINEER.
